Salary: $125K-$160K + Bonus Summary/Objective The Director of Project Management is responsible for leading the Project Management department and ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the required quality standards. This position collaborates closely with senior leadership, stakeholders, and internal teams to drive project excellence throughout the organization. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Planning: Develop, implement, and refine the project management strategy, ensuring alignment with the organization's objectives. Evaluate the efficiency of current procedures and recommend improvements. Leadership: Train, lead, mentor, and develop a team of project managers and project supervisors. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and a focus on results. Manage employee's performance, practice conflict resolution among the team, and administer disciplinary action. Project Governance: Establish and maintain standardized project management processes, methodologies, and best practices. Oversee the management of a project portfolio, ensuring the effective allocation of resources and prioritization of projects based on business needs and ROI. Assign and schedule project supervisors to projects. Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for senior management and stakeholders on matters pertaining to project management. Ensure clear communication across projects, addressing potential issues and risks proactively. As senior representatives of PPG, a significant degree of professionalism and accountability is expected. Financial Management: Develop and oversee project budgets, ensuring projects remain within allocated resources. Track and report on project performance, costs, and forecasted expenses. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and manage project risks, ensuring that effective mitigation strategies are in place. Continuous Improvement: Promote and implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and project success rates. Stay updated with the latest project management tools, technologies, and best practices. Internal Teams Collaboration: Establish internal pre-construction meetings. Liaise with other departments to ensure alignment and coherence in organizational projects. Much of the collaboration will be with the director of sales & estimating and director of pavement maintenance. Foster collaboration and teamwork across departments and project teams.
