Minimum education and experience:
- Graduate of an ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant program or a graduate of an ABMS or AOA-approved medical school.
- PA must hold a Master's degree or Master's degree in progress with a plan for completion within one year of hire.
- Must possess at least three years of full-time higher education experience at the time of appointment (ARC-PA requirement).
License and Certifications:
- Must be a Physician Assistant/Physician Associate (ARC-PA requirement); currently licensed to practice as a Physician Assistant in Pennsylvania.
- Must hold current National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) certification without restrictions in any state of the United States where licensing occurred.
Minimum abilities and skills:
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with campus partners in facilities, operations, and physical plant management.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively budget, forecast, and plan for essential housing operations and student programming.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Functional ability with microcomputer applications.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective and positive interpersonal relationships on-campus and in the community.
- Demonstrated sensitivity to issues of student development, diversity, special population needs, and multicultural issues.
- Evidence of creative and entrepreneurial problem solving.
- Self-starter who can work without constant supervision.
