Hospice Director of Patient Care Services (DPCS)

Equip Human Solutions is partnering with a growing Hospice organization throughout California. We are looking for a Hospice RN DPCS for a branch location in Temecula. This role offers a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and the opportunity to make a significant impact on patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all direct and indirect patient services provided by clinical organization personnel.
- Provide guidance and support to coordinators and clinical managers to enhance care services.
- Assist Executive Director with budget preparation and administration.
- Hire, evaluate, and terminate organization personnel.
- Assures compliance with all local, state, and federal laws regarding licensure and certification of agency personnel and maintains compliance to the ACHC Home Care standards and company policies and procedures.
- Act as Executive Director in the absence of the Executive Director/Administrator.
Qualifications:
- Registered nurse with current California licensure
- 3+ years of management experience in home health or related healthcare organization, including 1+ year in a supervisory/administrative role
- Expertise in clinical decision-making and quality management
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Participation in Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs
- Meet Physical requirements (sit, stand, drive, walk, etc.)
- Able to do field visits as needed.
