Your Role as Director of Director of OT Services
  • Regulatory Compliance & Certification Oversight: Ensure adherence to Department of Education regulations, Pennsylvania School Code, and Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) standards, including maintaining ACE provider status and supervision compliance for RBT, BCaBA, and BCBA candidates.
  • Behavioral Program Development & Implementation: Design, implement, and oversee a comprehensive, school-wide behavior services program grounded in best practices from special education and Applied Behavior Analysis, while leading standardization efforts across all New Story Schools.
  • Staff Training & Professional Development: Lead statewide behavioral training initiatives, identify skill development needs, and deliver real-time coaching to build behavior analytic competencies among school staff.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership & Collaboration: Partner with Behavioral Services administrators, senior directors, and the Vice President of Operations to support operational goals, guide new school development, and align behavior services with organizational strategies.
  • Student-Centered Support & Crisis Intervention: Provide direct student support when necessary, modeling evidence-based interventions and assisting in crisis management to promote positive outcomes and maintain classroom safety.
  • Program Evaluation & Continuous Improvement: Monitor program effectiveness using data-driven metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance service quality, student outcomes, and overall operational efficiency.
  • Statewide Coordination & Operational Support: Travel to school locations statewide to support consistency, deliver trainings, implement projects, and provide strategic reports or risk assessments as requested, while upholding safety protocols, FERPA, and internal policies.
Required Qualifications
  • Educational Background: Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Education, or a related field required.
  • Certification: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential required.
  • Applied Experience: At least ten years of direct experience implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies, with a strong preference for work in special education environments.
  • Leadership & Supervision: Minimum of five years in a supervisory or leadership role, overseeing staff and program implementation.
  • Specialized Expertise: Proven experience in curriculum development, Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
