Your Role:
As Director of Operations, you'll report directly to the CEO and take full ownership of day-to-day operations at our Springfield site. You'll lead teams across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain-ensuring smooth processes, satisfied customers, and strong business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee site operations with a focus on efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery.
- Lead departments in engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain with the support of specialized teams in HR, IT, sales, and quality.
- Work with HR to recruit talent, define performance goals, and foster a high-performing workforce.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimization.
- Develop and execute capacity expansion plans in line with market demands.
- Manage major projects, monitor KPIs, and ensure performance targets are met.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred in business, engineering, or supply chain management.
- 8+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing-ideally in metal fabrication, assembly, and testing.
- Strong knowledge of production and design principles, along with MRP/ERP systems (including implementation experience).
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with CAD software (CATIA, NX, etc.) is a plus.
- Strategic thinker with strong communication skills and a practical, action-oriented mindset.
