Job Responsibilities:
Site & People Leadership
  • Lead manufacturing operations across both Wisconsin facilities, aligning execution to safety, quality, service, cost, and culture objectives
  • Build and align a high-performing site leadership team with clear expectations, structure, and accountability
  • Drive performance through others-setting standards for leadership behavior, decision-making, and communication
  • Foster a culture of engagement, discipline, and continuous improvement across all levels and shifts
  • Ensure leadership consistency and shared expectations across both locations

Site Execution & Alignment
  • Lead the coordination of all site activities to ensure seamless execution across functions that impact safety, quality, service, and cost
  • Ensure strong collaboration with Supply Chain, Quality, and other functional partners while maintaining full accountability for operational readiness and execution
  • Drive alignment of priorities, planning, and decision-making across both facilities to eliminate silos and deliver unified performance

Continuous Improvement & Cost Optimization
  • Drive efficiency, throughput, and waste reduction through structured problem-solving and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Apply Lean, Six Sigma, or similar systems to sustain improvements and scale operational best practices
  • Optimize labor, materials, and equipment utilization to improve margins and support growth

Safety, Compliance & Operational Resilience
  • Champion a culture of safety excellence, ensuring regulatory compliance and behavioral ownership of safety at all levels
  • Lead plant-level safety accountability systems and reinforce leadership visibility on the floor
  • Serve as the escalation point for operational disruptions, labor issues, or site-level crises-ensuring rapid recovery and alignment

Customer Service & Growth Support
  • Ensure sites are operationally positioned to meet service expectations, fill rate goals, and customer responsiveness
  • Support execution of new product introductions, capital investments, and capacity changes in partnership with functional leaders
  • Align plant operations with long-term business growth plans while delivering on current service and quality commitments

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Food Science, or a related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing; food or dairy industry strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated success leading plant-level teams in fast-paced, complex production environments

Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong leadership capabilities with a proven ability to lead through others in cross-functional environments
  • Expertise in production systems, planning, maintenance, and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to translate high-level goals into plant-level execution plans
  • Skilled in building structure, discipline, and consistent operating systems across locations or departments
  • Clear, confident communicator with strong presence at all levels-from frontline to executive leadership
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to move throughout a manufacturing environment, including walking production floors, climbing stairs, and standing for extended periods as needed
  • Occasional need to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in compliance with plant safety protocols
  • Frequent use of a computer, phone, and other standard office equipment
  • Must be able to travel between plant locations within Wisconsin as required
