Director of Operations - Homecare Agency

About the Role

As the Director of Operations, you will oversee the daily operations of our homecare agency, ensuring smooth workflow, compliance with industry regulations, and financial stability. You will be responsible for leading a high-performing team, optimizing office efficiency, and maintaining a strong company culture that prioritizes client care and employee satisfaction. This is a full-time, hands-on leadership role with the opportunity to drive strategic growth and operational excellence.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead and support staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Process payroll, billing, accounts payable/receivable, and budget planning on a bi-weekly basis.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance workflow.
  • Ensure HR best practices, workplace safety, and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead and develop Mission, Vision and Culture of the organization

What We're Looking For

  • Experience: 5+ years in homecare, healthcare management, operations, or HR leadership.
  • Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, self-starter, infectious positivity, problem-solving, ability to handle stressful situations and financial management abilities.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, HR practices, and operational efficiency.
  • Proficiency in office management software and homecare industry systems.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, process payroll and billing, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven leadership abilities and successful team building track record.
