St. Ann Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, in Dover, NH, is a beautifully renovated 54 bed facility offering short- and long-term care in a warm and supportive atmosphere where residents are cared for according to their individual needs. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Nursing Services (DON) to join our team. The Director of Nursing Services will be responsible for overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality resident care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and management, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities;
Oversee the nursing staff and ensure the delivery of high-quality resident care
Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures
Manage the nursing budget and ensure cost-effective operations
Recruit, train, and evaluate nursing staff
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality
Participate in quality improvement initiative
Requirements:
Registered Nursing degree and certification in the state of NH
Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 3 years in a management role
Experience in a long-term care preferred
Strong leadership and communication skills
Knowledge of nursing policies, procedures, and regulations
Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
CDC Infection prevention certification preferred
Knowledge of PPS/MDS, Medicare and Medicaid regulations and standards as well as geriatric nursing preferred
