Job Title : Director of Nursing - Plastic Surgery
Job Summary :
The Director of Nursing for Plastic Surgery oversees the nursing operations in the surgical department, ensuring high-quality patient care, compliance with healthcare standards, and efficient resource management. This role leads a small team of nurses, develops protocols, and collaborates with surgical staff to improve patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead and manage the surgical nursing team, ensuring excellent patient care. Small center. 1 OR and 1 surgeon.
Develop and implement surgical nursing protocols and ensure regulatory compliance.
Monitor patient outcomes and drive quality improvement initiatives.
Manage budgets, staffing, and resources within the surgery department.
Collaborate with the surgeon and healthcare team to optimize care delivery.
Qualifications :
Registered Nurse (RN) with active license.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Master's preferred).
5+ years of nursing experience, preferably in some surgical settings.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
