Role Description
- The Director of Nursing is responsible for leading the skilled nursing team to ensure high standards of quality and delivering excellent care to patients.
- Ensure that each nurse on staff is properly certified and abides by the standards for care established by our organization as well as state and federal laws.
- Implement quality improvement programs designed to help us deliver the highest possible level of service.
- Maintain relationships with healthcare providers and hospitals in the local community.
Qualifications
- Nursing Management and Nursing skills
- Experience in Infection Control and Medicine
- Knowledge of Long-term Care practices
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Current State of Illinois RN license
- Proven results and experience in a management role
