The Director of Nursing is responsible for the management of the agency's clinical operations, personnel performance, and delivery of quality clinical services. S/he assures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations as well as accreditation standards and assists the General Manager in achieving budget goals. The DON assumes the General manager and responsibilities in the absence of the General Manager.

Location: FT. Lauderdale, FL
Hours: 40 hours per week - Hybrid Schedule
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical & Operational Oversight - Manage day-to-day clinical operations, patient referrals, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Team Leadership & Development - Train, mentor, and oversee clinical staff to ensure quality care and adherence to company policies.
Quality & Compliance - Lead quality assurance efforts, ensure compliance with regulations, and drive continuous improvement.
Community & Public Relations - Build relationships with clients, healthcare professionals, and the community to support business growth.
Administrative & Leadership Support - Assist with scheduling, chart audits, and workflow management while supporting executive leadership.
Qualifications:
Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice.
Bachelor's degree (preferred) in nursing or a health-related field.
Minimum 3 years of home health experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or administrative role.
Knowledge of Medicare Conditions of Participation and home health regulations.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Current CPR certification.
Reliable transportation & valid driver's license.

Schedule:
8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday.
Day shifts that promote a balanced routine.
Work Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL. There will be travel associated with this position to patient homes and other offices.
Compensation: $80,000-$90,000 per year
