Pride Health is hiring a Director of Nursing for the Emergency Department at a renowned Brooklyn-based hospital. This is a 3-month contract with a strong possibility of extension or hire-an incredible opportunity to step into a high-impact leadership role and shape emergency care delivery.
Shift: 8 AM - 4 PM Must be flexible for additional hours
Location: Brooklyn, NY 11212
Contract Duration: 3 months (Contract-to-Hire Potential)
What You'll Do:
- Oversee nursing operations in the Emergency Department, guiding ADONs, Nurse Managers & Coordinators.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to implement high-quality patient care strategies.
- Drive staffing efficiency, performance improvement, and clinical excellence.
- Ensure compliance with NYSDOH, JCAHO, and all regulatory standards.
- Mentor and support a culture of continuous professional development.
What We're Looking For:
- Master's in Nursing or related field (Doctorate preferred)
- Minimum 10 years of nursing leadership experience
- NYS RN License & active certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC
- Strong experience in CQI, Root Cause Analysis, and emergency care standards
- Exceptional interpersonal, decision-making, and organizational skills
