We are currently seeking a dynamic Senior Manager of Marketing to join our team and lead our strategic marketing initiatives. Position Overview: As the Director of Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in driving the organization's marketing efforts to enhance our brand image, promote membership growth and retention, promote education and events and engage our diverse network of professionals and Industry Partners. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), you will lead a range of marketing activities, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and ensuring the successful execution of our marketing strategies. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans that align with our strategic objectives, focusing on brand stewardship and membership acquisition, engagement, education programs, events and retention. Oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive marketing campaigns across all channels, including digital, print, social media, content creation, event and education promotion, and communications targeting both prospects and members. Partner with an external creative agency to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns that support events, membership growth, recruitment, and industry visibility. Utilize data analytics tools, such as HubSpot, to track campaign performance and gather insights for continuous improvement. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure the successful execution of marketing initiatives. Collaborate with other internal team members (and the organization's agency of record) to ensure consistent and cohesive branding across all materials. Maintain and evolve our brand identity while exploring innovative ways to attract and engage a younger demographic. Foster a positive team culture, providing mentorship and leadership to the marketing team. Oversees the department and manages two marketing coordinators. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to bring fresh and effective marketing strategies to the organization. Develop, implement and maintain all content and graphics for all of SIORs websites and social media including the connectivity piece between AMS and Higher Logic. Manage the content and engagement of MySIOR for digital membership needs. Develop new digital programs and services online. Oversees and manages the editorial calendar; serves as Editor-in-Chief of SIOR Report magazine. Leads collaboration with the editorial committee, external designers, and internal teams to plan, develop, and execute all magazine content, including feature articles and the President's message. Manages and handles all advertising sales for the magazine and websites. Oversees the development and maintains the blog, including acquiring content from members, managing the schedule, editing content and posting on the website. Leads SIOR's communications efforts, including the development of press releases, speeches, and presentation materials for conferences, board meetings, leadership, and industry events Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. Six (6) + years of proven experience in membership marketing and association management. Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple campaigns and initiatives simultaneously. Proficiency in digital marketing analytics tools, such as HubSpot, Prop Fuel to inform data-driven decisions. Proficiency in Graphic Design Tools; Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Canva, PowerPoint. Proficiency in Video and animation tools. Adobe Premiere Pro or Final cut Proficiency in AMS system Energetic and dynamic personality with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Previous experience in a similar role within a professional organization is a plus. Knowledge of the commercial and industrial real estate industry is advantageous.
