Are you a hands-on leader with a passion for keeping things running smoothly? Our Director of Maintenance role is an exciting opportunity to lead a team responsible for the upkeep and repair of 18 convenience stores and 3 car washes. This role is 75% in the field working alongside your team, and 25% administrative (handling work orders, vendor coordination, and parts purchasing).

What You Will Do:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the maintenance team to ensure efficient operations.
  • Perform hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs at store and car wash locations.
  • Oversee preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
  • Review and prioritize work orders to ensure timely and effective resolutions.
  • Order parts and manage inventory to keep essential supplies on hand.
  • Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and upgrades.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Provide leadership in emergency maintenance situations, responding quickly to urgent issues.

What You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in maintenance, facility management, or a related field (retail, fuel stations, or car washes preferred).
  • Leadership experience managing and developing a maintenance team.
  • Advanced knowledge of electrical Including high voltage electricity
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to implement cost-effective solutions.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects efficiently.
  • Proficiency with work order systems and email communication.
  • Valid drivers license (travel required between locations).
