About the Role

We are looking for a visionary Director of Institutional Business Development and Sales to spearhead the strategic expansion of our groundbreaking infrastructure that integrates traditional finance with the crypto world. In this pivotal role, you will craft and implement a comprehensive institutional sales strategy targeting hedge funds, family offices, and financial institutions. You will lead the entire sales lifecycle, from generating new leads to securing contracts, while collaborating closely with legal, product, and compliance teams to ensure our offerings excel in meeting high institutional standards.

Your aptitude for building and nurturing trust-based relationships with executive stakeholders is key, as you translate intricate technical product features into compelling value propositions. You will adeptly navigate complex partnership discussions, making your presence felt across the financial landscape.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 7 years' experience in institutional business development, partnerships, or B2B sales, especially within traditional finance, fintech, or crypto-native organizations. A proven sales track record with financial institutions, family offices, or asset managers is critical, paired with a deep understanding of both traditional capital markets and crypto infrastructure. Familiarity with KYC/AML frameworks, legal structuring, and regulatory risks associated with digital assets is essential, as is experience in collaborating with legal counsel on institutional agreements.

This role also requires exceptional presentation and storytelling abilities, the talent to distill complex technology into executive-friendly narratives, and a robust network of institutional contacts, particularly within the financial ecosystem in New York.
