Your Duties & Responsibilities:
• You will drive and account for the entire home services purchase journey over the
phone, including what is said in the IVR, how calls are routed, sales scripting and
process, and tracking of the metrics.
• You will be the expert for the products you're responsible for selling so that you can
optimize the right product for the consumer in order to maximize conversion and
revenue.
• You will develop hypotheses for better sales processes and test them yourself on
live calls with consumers.
• You will work with the Sales Director to develop a common, unified strategy to
extract the highest conversion rate from all opportunities across the product
portfolio and enterprise.
• You will work with operations to design and continually improve processes
including call routing, dynamic scripting, lead handling, and consumer
segmentation.
• Once the operation is ready to scale, you will hire, develop and grow a high
performing sales team.
Your First 90 Days:
• Map out the distinct customer segments and develop a sales strategy for each.
• Audit all of the customer journeys and implement changes to increase throughput
by at least 25%.
• Create a distinct, dynamic script for at least two customer segments.
• Take at least 100 inbound calls to test (and iterate quickly) your sales strategies and
scripts.
• Create the profile of the ideal candidate for an inside salesperson
• Achieve sustainable 20% home services attachment rate to electricity sales.
Experience / Education / Skills Required:
• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Able and willing to travel if/as needed (minimal).
• 8+ years of experience in a commission-based sales role and 3+ years leading an
inside sales team.
• Experience and proven high performance in home internet sales to consumers
• Demonstrated, provable ability to identify and understand consumer needs and
behaviors, and create sales processes based on consumer segments, including call
routing, sales scripting, etc.
• Superb teamwork and leadership qualities: ability to influence and engage reports
and peers.
• Demonstrated ability of motivating and holding themselves and the teams they
work with accountable for hitting ambitious goals.
