HR Director

The HR director will be responsible for leading and managing the HR functions at XeteX. This key leadership position will drive talent acquisition and development strategies, design competitive compensation and benefit programs, and cultivate a postivei workplace culture that aligns with XeteX values. The HR Director will play a critical role in supporting XeteX's mission to attract top talent, retain employees, ensuring compliance with labor laws, fostering an inclusive work environment, and directing the HR team.

Job Duties:
  1. Leadership and Strategy:
    1. Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the HR team fostering a collaborative and high performing environment.
    2. Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's business goals and workforce needs.
    3. Act as a strategic partner to senior leadership, advising on workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational development.
  2. Talent Acquisition & Development:
    1. Lead workforce planning initiatives to attract and retain top talent across all departments, from skilled trades to engineering and administration.
    2. Manage full-cycle recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding for both skilled and unskilled labor positions.
    3. Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to address the competitive manufacturing labor market.
    4. Design and implement employee training and development programs to enhance skills and support career growth.
  3. Compensation & Benefits:
    1. Develop and administer competitive compensation and benefits programs that attract and retain top talent.
    2. Conduct regular market analysis to ensure competitiveness and compliance with industry standards.
    3. Manage relationships with benefits providers and ensure efficient administration of all benefits programs.
  4. Employee Relations & Culture:
    1. Foster a positive and engaging work environment aligned with our company values.
    2. Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary action, and performance management.
    3. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that are compliant with state and federal regulations.
    4. Champion inclusion initiatives within the organization.
  5. Compliance and Reporting:
    1. Ensure compliance with all labor laws and industry regulations, particularly in the manufacturing sector.
    2. Oversee the maintenance of accurate employee records and HR metrics, providing regular reports to leadership.
    3. Monitor and implement HR best practices to continuously improve processes and outcomes.


Requirements

  1. 7+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  2. Proven success in recruiting for skilled and unskilled labor in a manufacturing environment.
  3. Strong understanding of labor laws and regulations, particularly in Wisconsin and Minnesota.
  4. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
  5. Preferred but not required:
    1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field
    2. Experience working with private equity-backed companies is a plus.
