Kinsa is recruiting for a: Director of Global Regulatory Affairs-Dietary Supplements/Skincare

Location: Hybrid role with one day a week onsite in both Santa Clara and Hayward, CA


Our client is a well-known global manufacturer of dietary supplements with an opportunity for a Director of Global Regulatory Affairs to join their team in CA. You will be the key role ensuring compliance with regulatory standards in all international markets and the U.S. This role involves strategic oversight of product registrations, regulatory submissions, and compliance management. The Director of Global Regulatory Affairs will have one direct report and will report to the Chief Scientific Officer.


5+ yrs managerial experience in international regulatory affairs in the Nutraceutical or Skincare industries, Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Regulatory Affairs

Key Responsibilities in this role:

  • You will take the lead in identifying and solving key regulatory issues and guides the organization toward maintaining compliance in all relevant international markets
  • Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Operations and Marketing teams to share regulatory updates on new and renovated product development
  • Review product labels for proper labeling of products
  • Register new and existing products in different countries and adhering to the regulatory practices of each country
  • Collect and interpret all regulatory related documents and responding to the needs of the international community in a timely and professional manner

Education & Experience Needed:

  • Bachelors' degree in Food, Life Science or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of international (Europe and Africa) regulatory affairs experience with dietary supplements, food, home or skincare products
  • Hands-on knowledge of submission process, including dossier preparation and product claim
  • Strong knowledge of DSHEA, FDA regulations 21 CFR 100's
  • Solid knowledge of FTC and NAD guidelines
  • Friendly and patient demeanor, balanced with strength and confidence to lead and build the department
