Our client, a boutique hotel in Palm Desert, is seeking an experienced Food and Beverage Director to join their team.
Position: Food & Beverage Director
Location: Palm Desert, CA
Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000
Schedule: Must be available for weekends and holidays
What You'll Do
- Lead daily operations across restaurant, bar, room service, and private events
- Deliver flawless, warm, and personalized service in every guest interaction
- Manage financial performance, vendor relationships, and inventory
- Act as the go-to for VIP and high-profile guest relations
- Partner with the Executive Chef on menus, seasonal updates, and presentation
- Build, train, and lead an exceptional service-driven team
- Stay floor-present and hands-on, mentoring and elevating your staff
- Develop budgets, track KPIs, and optimize profitability
- Oversee a distinctive beverage program featuring curated wines, cocktails, and pairings
- Collaborate with marketing on events and brand-aligned experiences
Who You Are
- 7-10+ years of upscale F&B or luxury hotel experience
- Financially savvy with proven operational leadership
- Guest-obsessed with a refined sense of service
- Strong wine and beverage knowledge (sommelier cert a plus)
- Positive, approachable, and hands-on leader
- Trend-aware and forward-thinking hospitality professional
