Director of Martin Fitness Operations
Mission: The core mission of this position is to plan, execute, and manage the Dynamix fitness location in Martin, TN. The ideal person for this position will display the Dynamix core values and represent the Dynamix brand in a professional way at all times. This person will be responsible for hiring/training/managing Dynamix fitness/gym staff, cross training clinical staff on gym operations, manage and maintain gym software, oversee gym/fitness operations, and other items that may be assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Staffing and Training
- Work with Clinic Director and/or Dynamix Leadership in managing fitness staff
- Oversee the scheduling of all fitness staff
- Schedule Saturday gym hours coverage
- Fitness class schedule
- Dedicated fitness staff
- Fitness Operations/Software Management
- Manage fitness operating software
- Collect delinquent membership dues
- Cross train staff to use fitness software
- Collaborate with Marketing to develop gym specific programs and content
- Membership drives and specials
- Fitness related social media content
- Membership engagement
- Develop content for Life Fitness Halo enabled equipment and for use in other areas of the gyms
- Audit new membership agreements for compliance to Dynamix standards
- Report any concerns or violations to Chief Financial Officer
- Fitness Facilities Management
- Oversee the cleaning, maintenance, and service of fitness equipment
- Facilities
- Cleaning - Ensure that fitness facility, equipment, bathrooms, etc. are clean to Dynamix standards
- Oversee and manage the cleaning checklist
- Inventory management
- Equipment
- Maintenance fitness equipment per manufacturer instructions/standards
- Coordinate with Facilities Technician
- Serve as liaison between Dynamix and vendor technicians
- Other
- Monitor facility security cameras weekly or as requested
- Be active and visible within the Martin community
