Overview: An industry-leading organization is seeking an experienced VP of Finance with a strong IT background and proven ERP implementation experience. This pivotal role will oversee all financial operations with a primary focus on leading the selection, implementation, and ongoing management of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, ensuring it aligns with business needs and enhances financial processes. The ideal candidate will possess strategic financial planning expertise, strong leadership skills, and the ability to optimize system functionality to drive efficiency across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a strategic business partner to the Executive Management Team, providing financial guidance and counsel on key strategic initiatives.
Lead the selection and implementation of an ERP system, overseeing all aspects such as data migration, system configuration, testing, and user training.
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
Oversee and manage financial functions such as accounting, tax, audit, budget, credit, and treasury.
Develop and implement cash flow plans and projections aligned with annual operating plans.
Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance and administrative teams.
Manage financial relationships with banking institutions and external stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and implement best financial practices across the organization.
Analyze ERP data to generate insightful financial reports and track key performance metrics.
Champion operational excellence and identify opportunities for business growth.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
5+ years of executive finance and management experience.
Experience in manufacturing required
Strong IT acumen, with expertise in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
Proven track record of successfully implementing and managing ERP systems.
Advanced financial modeling and data analysis skills.
Exceptional project management abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across all levels of the organization.
