Job Summary
MedElite is seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Director of Finance to join our growing team. This position will be based at our Brooklyn, NY headquarters and will report directly to the CFO. The Director of Finance will oversee an analyst and have the opportunity to expand the team.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate, monitor, analyze, forecast, and oversee the company's overall financial performance and analytics
- Consolidate financial results, influence strategic decisions, and provide valuable insights to senior leadership about the company's financial trajectory
- Drive consolidated budget and re-forecasting processes to ensure alignment with operating plan, external guidance, and overall financial targets
- Provide valuable insights into performance on an ongoing basis to leadership
- Lead the production and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports, highlighting key trends and variances for leadership and investor relations
- Lead the monthly financial review meeting
- Develop and support cost allocation management and frameworks that align with the operating model
- Drive internal finance processes and strategy, including oversight of financial planning systems and allocations, integrity of raw financial data, and granular reporting capabilities
- Consistently evaluate FP&A processes, systems, and tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and strategic analysis
- Develop, manage, and coach a high-performing corporate finance team
- Assist in the evaluation, modeling, and due diligence of add-on acquisition opportunities
Requirements
- 7+ years of Financial Planning and Financial Reporting experience
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience in creating and managing financial statement packages
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently in a dynamic environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is required
- Experience in investment banking or private equity is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required
- MBA or CPA preferred
- Interest in working at an entrepreneurial, growing company
- Experience working with large data sets
