Director OF Engineering

Director of Engineering Minimum requirements are listed below Requires a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or closely related field and a minimum of four years previous professional civil engineering experience including at least two years with utilities. Registration in Oklahoma as a Professional Engineer or the ability to obtain registration in Oklahoma by reciprocity within one year of employment. Possession of, or the ability to obtain, a valid Oklahoma Class D Driver's License prior to employment. Performs complex engineering work in the provision of office engineering support and field engineering support for environmental, water, sewer, street and other Public Works projects and programs ensuring technical competence and compliance with all current codes and criteria; serves as a Project Engineer/Manager; develops City wide policies concerning engineering related issues; Supervises an engineering division with a total of 16 personnel.
