What You'll Do As the Director of Educational Outcomes, you will:

Lead competency-based medical education (CBME) initiatives that align with national standards and improve student outcomes. Develop and implement educational resources, including faculty and student success programs. Support Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine (COMs) in tracking student progress and implementing intervention strategies. Collaborate with AACOM member institutions, national organizations, and other key stakeholders to advance medical education initiatives. Represent AACOM in national discussions on competency-based education, precision learning, and student success. Design and facilitate workshops, presentations, and programs at events such as the AACOM Educating Leaders Conference. Provide expert guidance on academic support strategies, including faculty development, tutoring programs, and academic advising models. Work with COMs on student success policies, including accommodations and learning strategies.

Who We NEED Our ideal team member will have the following qualifications:

Education & Experience

  • Master's degree in Education or a related field (preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in student education, curriculum development, student assessment, or student success initiatives
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • Osteopathic undergraduate medical education
    • Graduate medical education
    • Clinical learning environment Interprofessional education

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of education theory and student support strategies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in CBME implementation and assessment
  • Ability to build relationships with faculty, academic advisors, and national organizations
  • A data-driven mindset for tracking student progress and program success

This is a full-time, remote position with occasional to frequent travel required.
