Our Shopify-based ecommerce model operates through a hybrid fulfillment network with 3PLs in North America and Abroad. As we scale globally, we're looking for a Director of Logistics who can architect and lead a world-class logistics operation.

Role Summary

We are seeking a data-driven, tech-savvy Director of Logistics to lead Pink Palm Puff's global supply chain, 3PL integrations, and fulfillment operations. This role is central to optimizing our Shopify-connected ecosystem, delivering delightful customer experiences, and maintaining operational excellence as we scale.

Key Responsibilities Logistics Strategy & Fulfillment
  • Design and oversee our multi-node fulfillment network, working with domestic and international 3PL partners.
  • Ensure all fulfillment SLAs are met - from inbound freight to last-mile delivery and returns.
  • Lead logistics planning for new product drops, peak seasons, and international expansion.
Shopify & 3PL Integration
  • Own the architecture connecting Shopify to our 3PLs using native apps, middleware tools (e.g., ShipMonk, EasyPost), or custom APIs.
  • Ensure seamless, real-time data flow of orders, inventory, and tracking info between Shopify and logistics systems.
  • Collaborate with technical teams and external partners to improve system uptime, automation, and accuracy.
Inventory & Order Routing
  • Develop and manage smart order-routing logic based on region, inventory availability, and cost efficiency.
  • Monitor inventory levels across all nodes and work with planning teams to rebalance and forecast demand.
Performance & Analytics
  • Define, track, and report on logistics KPIs: delivery time, fulfillment cost per order, order accuracy, WISMO volume, etc.
  • Build dashboards using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio to share real-time logistics insights.
Customer Experience & Returns
  • Streamline returns, reships, and logistics-related support issues.
  • Optimize return workflows using platforms like Loop Returns.
