Director of E-Commerce & Digital Marketing
Overview
Leading Global Beauty Brand is seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of E-Commerce & Digital Marketing to lead its online marketing efforts across North America. This role will be responsible for driving profitable growth through e-commerce channels, managing digital strategy, and leading a high-performing team and agency partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategy and execution for North America digital marketing efforts, including oversight of brand websites and customer acquisition across paid and organic channels.
- Optimize customer acquisition across multiple channels including SEM, SEO, email, display, affiliates, and paid social using data-driven attribution models.
- Oversee CRM and loyalty programs in collaboration with analytics, IT, and product management teams.
- Lead and mentor a team of direct reports and manage agency partners, ensuring seamless execution of marketing initiatives on time and within budget.
- Analyze and manage direct response campaigns including segmentation, list management, vendor coordination, and performance reporting.
- Champion consumer insights and user experience improvements to drive conversion and engagement.
- Manage relationships with online retailers, partners, and vendors-including negotiation of contracts.
- Stay on the forefront of e-commerce trends and innovation, proactively identifying areas for strategic growth and improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including global marketing, creative, IT, finance, product management, and customer service to align and execute initiatives.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in digital marketing, with 3-4 years in a senior management or director-level role.
- Demonstrated success in e-commerce and web production; beauty or online retail experience preferred.
- Strong communicator, adept at presenting strategic plans and complex data to executive stakeholders.
- Strong blend of strategic, tactical, and technical competencies.
- Deep understanding of digital creative processes and experience managing high-quality creative deliverables.
Contract- 40 hours/week
Location- El Segundo, CA
Work Schedule- 2 days in office, 3 WFH
