Job Description The Director of Contracts is responsible for managing all contracts activities. This position is responsible for guiding and directing the overall administration of Metronome's Contracts Department. In addition, the director is responsible for analyzing contracts with a strong attention to detail, identifying opportunities to reduce costs and increase profit, ensuring compliance with the law, and identifying potential risks for our company. The Director of Contracts will also advise management on contractual rights and obligations and interpret terms and conditions Required Skills Manage the development and implementation of corporate contracts policy, procedures, guidance, and instructions. 2. Review and negotiate complex contracts and analyze potential risks involved with specific contract terms. 3. Oversee the review of award and modification documents for accuracy and completeness. 4. Interact with customer peers for funding, approvals, and/or contract modification corrections. Execute complete and accurate contractual documentation. 5. Lead operational efficiency initiatives and facilitate the implementation of process improvements and best practices for contracts 6. Create and manage subcontractor RFPs, award documentation and modifications. 7. Ensure company employees are made aware of all deadlines and conditions as described within the contract. 8. Ensure all Contracts deliverables are submitted accurately and on time. 9. Maintain an organized system of digital contract files in accordance with all required regulations, to include award, modifications, official communication and close out documentation. 10. Create, maintain, and submit recurring status reports (Excel Spreadsheets) on or before the contractual due date. 11. Direct the creation, review, and updates of all non-disclosure, teaming, consulting, and vendor agreements. 12. Prepare the contractual portion of RFP bid packages. 13. Oversee the Contracts and Pricing volume of proposal efforts. 14. Complete data calls as required for capture, proposal and ongoing support. 15. Update and maintain company SAM.gov records. 16. Support all government mandated contractual reporting requirements. 17. Propose and implement new procedures to improve contracts procedures as needed 18. Serve as point of contact for customers both internal and external regarding contractual matters. Required Skills 1. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. 2. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, quick learner, creative, and strategic thinker 3. Excellent planning and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure 4. Flexible and adaptable to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment 5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 6. Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics. 7. Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles. 8. Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative. 9. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. 10. Capability to prioritize multiple competing objectives 11. Quick learner and ability to think fast on your feet Qualifications 1. Bachelor's degree preferred 2. Extensive knowledge of contract principles and procedures 3. 5 years of Government Contracting experience Desired Qualifications 1.
