The Ideal Candidate A proven construction leader who thrives on managing multiple high-value projects at once. Experienced in ground-up construction, historic renovations, and mixed-use developments. A strategic thinker who can oversee vendor negotiations, contract execution, and process optimization. Strong people leader, capable of motivating teams and managing project managers, supers, and subcontractors. Comfortable working directly with owners and stakeholders, handling large-scale budgets, and ensuring projects run smoothly. Key Responsibilities Oversee all active projects, ensuring budgets, schedules, and execution stay on track. Lead and mentor a team of project managers, site supers, and assistant supers. Handle contract negotiations, vendor management, and change orders. Drive process improvements and implement project management best practices. Maintain compliance, safety, and quality standards across all job sites. Manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring alignment on budgets, schedules, and deliverables. Optimize staffing and resource allocation to maximize efficiency. Qualifications 10+ years of construction leadership experience, overseeing large-scale developments ($20M+ per project). Expertise in ground-up, mixed-use, historic rehabs, and commercial fit-outs. Strong budgeting, financial planning, and contract negotiation skills. Proven ability to lead multiple direct reports and large project teams. Deep understanding of zoning, permitting, and compliance. Must-Haves Executive-level construction management experience. Ability to oversee multiple projects while keeping teams organized and efficient. A strategic, problem-solving mindset, with strong decision-making skills. Excellent vendor negotiation and contract management expertise. Strong communication skills to engage with project owners, clients, and internal teams.
