We're hiring a Director of Catering & Sales - M&G Foodstuff East Village, NYC
Looking for a strategic, creative leader who loves great food and has a passion for sales. M&G Foodstuff is a boutique catering company known for its hyper-seasonal menus, impeccable execution, and strong relationships with some of NYC's most exciting fashion houses, luxury brands, and creative teams.
As our Director of Catering & Sales, you'll lead our sales team, manage high-touch client relationships, and oversee drop-off and full-service events from first inquiry through flawless delivery. You'll work directly with ownership, operations, and our culinary team to drive revenue, grow the business, and uphold the elevated standards that define the M&G experience.
In this role, you'll:
- Own the full sales cycle across drop-off catering and full-service events
- Build and nurture relationships with new and existing clients
- Lead outbound sales efforts and develop a strategic growth plan
- Guide and mentor our sales team with clarity and care
- Collaborate closely with the kitchen, ops, and vendors
- Keep your finger on the pulse of NYC's food and events scene
We're looking for someone with:
- 5+ years in senior catering/event sales
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- A deep love for great food and the details that matter
- Financial and operational know-how - you can price, budget, and close with confidence
- A proactive, warm, and thoughtful approach to clients and coworkers
