This is a full time Director of Cardiovascular Services at Lower Keys Medical Center in Key West, Fl. Job Summary The Director, Cath Lab is responsible for the overall leadership, direction, and management of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, including planning, organizing, and overseeing all administrative, operational, and clinical activities to ensure efficient and effective delivery of quality patient care. This role works closely with hospital leadership and cardiology teams to support excellence in patient outcomes, regulatory compliance, and continuous process improvement within the Cath Lab department. Essential Functions Oversees the daily operations of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, ensuring patient safety, clinical effectiveness, and efficient workflow. Manages staff recruitment, training, and performance, fostering a positive work environment that encourages professional growth and high standards of care. Develops, implements, and evaluates departmental policies, protocols, and procedures in alignment with regulatory requirements and evidence-based practices. Monitors departmental budgets, cost containment, and resource allocation to achieve financial goals while maintaining high-quality patient care. Collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to enhance service offerings, develop quality improvement initiatives, and optimize patient satisfaction. Ensures all equipment and technologies in the Cath Lab are properly maintained, calibrated, and used according to safety standards. Analyzes performance metrics and quality data to identify trends and implement corrective actions as necessary. Communicates effectively with hospital administration, providing reports on departmental performance, project updates, and resource needs. Performs other duties as assigned. Complies with all policies and standards. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or related field preferred 5-7 years of experience in a cardiac catheterization lab or similar cardiovascular setting, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Comprehensive knowledge of cath lab operations, cardiovascular procedures, and regulatory standards. Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to manage and inspire a multidisciplinary team. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation. Ability to analyze quality metrics, manage process improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Licenses and Certifications RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure or equivalent clinical certification required BCLS - Basic Life Support required CCVP - Certified Cardiovascular Catheterization Professional preferred Health Services\ACLS preferred INDLEAD To apply, please email
