Responsible for leading Outpatient Cardiology service line administrative and financial activities. Supervises and oversees the management of all Cardiology service-related activities at all outpatient locations and ancillary testing including those within the inpatient setting.

How You Will Fulfill Your Potential
Responsibilities
Coordinate with clinical and GFMG administrative leaders to develop, update and implement the strategic long-and short-range plan to support the organization's philosophy and goals for the Cardiology service line
Works with physicians, GFMG leadership, management and staff in cultivating collaborative relationships to ensure planning and implementation of all the Cardiology service line programs.
Responsible for operating budget planning, monitoring and performance for all service line cost centers.
Promotes positive customer service skills with both internal and external customers including physicians, co-workers, staff, patients, referring providers, vendors and others
Education/Accredited Programs
MSN, MHA, MBA, or MS in health administration, business or equivalent in years of management experience.
Ongoing professional development courses in healthcare management.
5+ years of administration of Cardiology services preferred.
Knowledge of the principles and practices of health planning and management sufficient to direct and oversee
service line development and operational effectiveness.
Knowledge of the principles and practices of financial management sufficient to monitor the financial performance
of the service line.
Knowledge of computer, programs and applications.
Skills/Abilities
Skill in exercising a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion and decision-making to achieve service line's mission.
Skill in analyzing situations accurately and taking effective action.
Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with a multidisciplinary team, patients and the public.
Skill in organizing work, delegating and achieving goals and objectives.
Skill in exercising judgment and discretion in developing, applying, interpreting and coordinating departmental policies
and procedures.
Demonstrated ability of manage change and direct the problem-solving process.
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain quality standards.

Demonstrated ability to analyze and prepare comprehensive reports.

Salary Range
The expected rate for this Glens Falls, New York, United States-based position is $124,000 - $180,000 annually. Salary is determined on a case-by-case basis commensurate with experience level, as well as education and certifications pertaining to each position which may be above the listed job requirements.
