Description
We are seeking a talented and experienced beverage manager to oversee our cold brew operation. As the director, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire cold brew production process, helping design schedules, working with customers, building and supporting SOPs, following SQF standards and strategizing growth. Coffee/Cold Brew experience is not a prerequisite, however we do desire to have one with beverage manufacturing experience, critical thinker, organized, have an attention to detail and a desire to grow and learn.
- Manage the entire cold brew production process ensuring schedules are on track, customers are happy and the highest quality standards are met.
- Train and supervise a team in the cold brew production and safety process, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Manage the equipment and facility, ensuring food safety, preventative maintenance, and new growth is planned and scheduled.
- Collaborate with the team to develop new cold brew flavors and promote seasonal offerings.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure an uninterrupted supply of coffee Beans and materials.
- Maintain clean and organized brewing equipment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Understand and create SOPs and maintenance for equipment
- SQF Practitioner (will train)
- PCQI (will train)
- Forklift Certified (will train)
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in a similar role, coffee, beer, beverage production, etc
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to consistently produce high-quality brews.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to effectively train and supervise a team of 2-4.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both internal and to customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
