This position is located in the Administration Department of the Veterans Home of California, Yountville and is responsible for developing policies and has decision-making authority in support of the overall mission, objectives, organizational plan, and strategic direction of Human Resources, General Services, Business Services, Quality Assurance, Health and Safety and Public Safety. In addition, the SSM III provides strategic support, expert guidance, and creative solutions to Executive and Home staff, while ensuring adherence and compliance with the State of California's civil service laws, rules, and regulations.

Special Requirements
Veterans may qualify for a CalVet Veterans Hiring Preference. Military service must be included in the Employment History section of the Employment Applications (STD. 678).
