Job Summary and Qualifications The Director of Medical Staff Services will lead the direction and management of the hospital's medical services office (MSO) activities. You will serve as primary liaison between hospital and credentialing processing center (CPC) on processes related to initial appointment, re-appointment, and clinical privileging. What You Will Do In This Role: You will develop hospital credentialing policies in accordance with accreditation/regulatory standards, HCA policies, and medical staff bylaws. You will prepare credentialing reports for medical staff leaders, committees, and the governing body. You will participate in planning for future medical staff recruitment. You will serve as the hospital's subject matter expert regarding relevant accreditation and regulatory requirements. What Qualifications You Will Need: BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience required Minimum of three (3) years in credentialing management Minimum of three (3) years supervisory experience Must have experience with facility's accreditation process and standards Must have (Certified Professional Credentialing Specialist) and/or CPMSM (Certified Professional Medical Staff Management) certification.
