This position is located on-site in San Jose.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Position requires access to Secure Project area. Employee is expected to follow the Security Policy and regulations to develop secure products.
- Lead and direct the day-to-day activities related to departmental execution for MIS.
- Define and implement policies to improve the overall efficiency of the stated departments. Analyze routine tasks for automation.
- Define operating procedures for supporting internal customers and monitor the effectiveness of those procedures/policies.
- Provide leadership, mentor and training in management techniques, presentation of ideas and data collection when required.
- Train and educate internal and external customers on the Winbond-USA business system tools/needs e.g. quality case tracking system use, procedural execution when applicable.
- Ensure there is an objective method of measuring the performance of the manager staff and their subordinates.
- Participate in the strategic development of various processes & procedures throughout the company.
- Routinely review service trends, initiate improvement action plans based on corporate goals.
- Maintain an on-time performance attitude for the MIS department.
- Provide management consulting where applicable and ensure that all MIS members get the help needed to be successful in their jobs.
- Routinely communicate with WEC personnel for MIS and other departmental needs.
- Report operational deficiencies to executive management and recommend systematic implementation solutions.
EDUCATION EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
- Requires a 4-year degree or at least 10 years equivalent experience.
- Must have at least 10 years management experience.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills are required.
- Experience in the semiconductor industry a plus.
- Must possess excellent skills in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Microsoft Word and Power Point.
- UNIX & Linux support preferred.
- Mandarin speaking preferred.
