Job Summary At Oberlin Marketing, an Integrity company in Fort Wayne, IN, the Individual Health Insurance Director is accountable for sales, operations, and carrier processes for pre-medicare individuals. They are the subject matter expert on Individual Health Insurance Products and a vital part of the leadership team. Primary Responsibilities: Build strong relationships with existing Oberlin agents and help recruit new independent agents to grow our distribution of individual health products. Engage with our agent base to provide content, resources, and information to foster success in the market. Provide ongoing service and support to agents as they navigate the sales process in the field. Champion of product expertise to our agent base and product knowledge growth. Create cross-referral opportunities for annuities, life, group health, and Medicare. Review and manage current tools, technology, and offerings for internal and external use to drive efficiency, new sales, and improved service. Partner with marketing initiatives to create and implement campaigns for business growth. Maximize carrier contracts and relationships with partner uplines and IMOs/FMOs. Assist operations management with onboarding, contracting, and enforcing new business processes and procedures as needed. Attend local industry events & other opportunities as needed for professional development and relationship growth. Lead and coordinate with current customer service staff to support agents, including department focus, training, and professional development. Track, compile, and assess agent performance to make data-driven decisions for strategic growth. Track, execute, and follow up on field sales escalations in coordination with insurance carriers. Other duties as assigned. Primary Skills & Requirements: Experience with individual health, ancillary, or ACA/Marketplace products, including insurance plan design & comparison. Proven track record of leadership with a heart for service plus innovation and adaptability in the workplace. Established relationships with carriers, vendors, and TPAs.
