A professional association organization in Orlando is seeking an Associate Executive/Executive Director to oversee the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the overall operations, administration, accounting and direction of the association. A solid background in marketing and working with a board of directors and experience with commercial real estate are key components of this role.
This is a remote role but candidate must be based in Greater Orlando as this is necessary for participation in monthly lunches, board meetings, member meetings, etc. This will be a 1099 role.
About the Role
The Associate Executive/Executive Director will oversee the organization and ensure its smooth operation.
Responsibilities
- Accounting and Oversight of the association budget.
- Program Development to include monthly luncheons and other events.
- Administration of association membership and related responsibilities.
- Prepare agendas, reports, and materials for board members.
Qualifications
- Previous or corresponding experience with professional associations.
- Accounting and marketing experience.
- Marketing background.
Required Skills
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a board of directors.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in commercial real estate.
- Proficiency in budgeting and financial management.
Pay range and compensation package
This will be a 1099 role.
