The Director, Demand Generation Innovation is key role in our global marketing team, responsible for collaborating with strategic marketers to amplify the reach of our marketing communications, performing data analyses to ensure maximum success of campaigns, monitoring and managing spend, managing our martech platforms and channels, and researching and implementing innovative solutions for improved process efficiency and lead and demand generation performance . The successful candidate will be a seasoned leader comfortable with change and capable of championing the Sustainability Business' evolving programs and needs with others. The right person for this role will be a strong team manager, an optimistic problem solver, and an excellent collaborator who can deftly manage relationships with peers and other leaders throughout the organization to achieve business objectives while also leading our team on its process efficiency and innovation journey. Key Responsibilities Drive campaign performance results: Collaborate with others in the Sustainability Business marketing, sales, and commercial operations teams to develop performance objectives, design channel approaches, execute on plans, and produce and analyze results. Define performance criteria for sales-acceptable leads and manage sales handshake for those leads. Manage martech platforms: Oversee use of martech stack including Cvent, DotDigital, LinkedIn, and more. Create processes for efficient team collaboration, data collection, and analysis. Coordinate with Sustainability Business and wider Schneider Electric team members to develop best-in-class program. Manage vendor relationships, training, contracting, and performance review of platforms. Investigate and implement innovative solutions: Monitor market for new and emerging technologies and marketing approaches. Investigate potential processes and/or software solutions that could further advance team productivity and performance. Pilot solutions as appropriate. Champion adoption of AI for marketing and other innovations. Manage budget: Oversee team budget and finance relationship. Provide analysis of budget-to-actuals and comply with all forecast deadlines. Manage spend and give updates to team as requested. Make spend recommendations given historical trends and year-to-date performance. Measurement and insights: Apply a test-and-learn approach to activities. Analyze existing data and historical trends to understand what is working best and adapt quickly, pivoting to increase campaign and initiative performance as needed to fulfill business objectives. What qualifications will make you successful for this role? Essential skills, qualifications 10 years' experience in progressive marketing role, with specific experience in managing martech platforms and vendors, marketing automation, marketing channels, or marcom amplification. 5 years managing a team. Ideal candidates will have experience in a global role managing team members remotely and in different time zones. Experience and interest in energy or sustainability industries strongly preferred. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Excellent communication, presentation, and budget management skills. Strong project management skills, with experience using workflow management platforms and directing/leading the work of others to accomplish shared objectives. Personal qualities such as: self-driven, passionate, collaborative, influential, perseverant, reliable, direct, curious, adaptable, and patient. Ability to work flexibly to accommodate global time zones. This may mean some early morning / late night calls. Ability to travel both domestically and internationally for up to a week or more at a time. Travel will make up about 10% of the role, with approximately 1-3 international trips per year. For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $160,000-200,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
