The Danielsen Institute at Boston University is seeking a Director of Clinical Services (DCS) to lead and oversee all aspects of the Danielsen Institute's clinic operations. The Danielsen Institute at Boston University is comprised of an on-campus community outpatient mental health clinic, training programs for mental health clinicians and researchers, and the Center for the Study of Religion and Psychology.

The DCS position requires high level clinical, organizational, leadership, and relational skills to lead a diverse clinical team providing over 12,000 hours annually of culturally affirming mental health services to a diverse outpatient client population in a community mental health center setting. The Institute's clinical team is composed of licensed psychologists, social workers, marriage and family therapists, advanced practice nurses, and a psychiatrist, as well as unlicensed training fellows from those disciplines, totaling 20-25 clinicians.

The DCS has responsibility for providing direct clinical services (assessments, psychotherapy, consultation) to a regular caseload of Institute clients, as well as responsibility for providing clinical supervision, training, and teaching within the Danielsen Institute's clinical training program, which includes an American Psychological Association-accredited internship. Additionally, the DCS is responsible for being the clinical liaison to the Danielsen Institute's research team, contributing unique clinical research expertise on data collection and research design for grant-funded clinical research projects.

Additionally, the DCS position requires the skills, background, and experience to contribute at the director level as a member of the Danielsen Institute's leadership team, guiding overall Institute strategy, planning, and functioning in a way that is consistent with the Danielsen mission.
