What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

  1. Build and maintain a quality pipeline of opportunities in a complex sales environment
  2. Secure qualified client meetings through cold calling, emails, social media, and networks
  3. Collaborate closely with internal team members to drive the Medical Communications business
  4. Create strategies to drive business towards Agency of Record (AOR) status
  5. Provide timely status reports to senior leadership and discuss innovative approaches to industry challenges

What is Required (Qualifications):

  1. Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college preferred or relevant sales/account management experience
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in business development and/or account management
  3. Demonstrable success in client account management with a track record of meeting or exceeding quotas
  4. Pharmaceutical industry experience and relevant healthcare knowledge
  5. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages and meeting platforms such as ZOOM and TEAMS

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

  1. Experience responding to RFPs or RFIs
  2. Familiarity with Salesforce
  3. Experience working in publications and non-personal promotion (NPP)
  4. Medical Publications experience
  5. Strong analytical skills, particularly in Excel and market research tools
