We are searching for the best talent for an experienced supply chain professional to be a Director, Business Transformation & Innovation located in Malvern, PA, Horsham, PA, or Titusville, NJ.

Purpose:

This role leads the CSC strategic plan and its execution and manages the projects that are required to support this plan including the evaluation, development, and monitoring of these long-range program and product requirements. Manages day to day operations such as business process owner, compliance and audit leadership, G&Os, metrics, budgets and CSC Council (executive IBP process). Innovation plan lead who is the key point of contact for outside collaborations across pharma on new innovations.

You will be responsible for:
  • leadership and strategic direction in the development and implementation of innovative solutions and strategic goal setting, for CSC. This includes screening, piloting, and developing innovative solutions and introducing and maintaining business processes related to Clinical Supply Chain.
  • providing technical and innovative solutions to the Clinical Supply chain to increase efficiency, optimize processes, reduce waste, and increase overall cost savings.
  • assisting and/or advising the CSC groups with innovative solutions on design and manufacturing solutions for new & complex developments.
  • developing strong collaborations with vendors, technology suppliers and engineering departments to be up to date with latest developments in the Clinical Supply Chain environment.
  • building/maintaining a strong working relationship with peers (internal and external) to collaborate on technologies which require changes in the regulatory field.
  • representing J&J CSC as on industry associations, congresses as a key opinion leader.
  • working with different stakeholders in - and outside the CSC organization to align and to deliver strategies.
  • shaping, coordinating and leading the implementation of new processes and training. Ensure quality oversight and audit readiness. Drive continuous improvement.
  • driving the CSC strategic planning and yearly G&O cycle, and the related review processes to track progress
  • accountability for the CSC budget cycle and LRFP and reporting to key stakeholders (finance, TDS, IMSC).
  • establishing governances with internal and external stakeholders and leads CSC governance processes where required.
  • driving performance management and support data driven decision making by metrics.
  • maintaining oversight over key projects and acts as a CSC PMO organization.
  • partnering effectively with stakeholders & partners on CSC strategy related topics, e.g.
  • creating a culture of collaboration, flexibility, and competitiveness by increasing financial and digital business acumen, industry knowledge and skills, and benchmarking.
Qualifying/Requirements

Education:

  • A minimum of a Bachelors degree is required
Required:
  • a minimum of 10 years experience in clinical or commercial drug product manufacturing or clinical trial materials supply is required
  • In depth knowledge on end-to-end supply chain processes is required
  • Project management skills are required
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills, able to achieve results with and without direct authority is required
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate internally and with external partners is required
Preferred:
  • a minimum of 3 years of experience in a development environment is preferred

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $160,000 - $276,000 USD.

The compensation and benefits information set forth in this posting applies to candidates hired in the United States. Candidates hired outside the United States will be eligible for compensation and benefits in accordance with their local market.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.

  • Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
