DIRECTOR OF ANODIZING & MECHANICAL FINISHING
Were looking for a Director of Anodizing & Mechanical Finishing for our clients operation in the greater Dallas area. The position reports to the VP of Operations. The company is employee-centric and a great place to work (link removed)>
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- 10+ years of Bright Dip Anodizing experience
- 5+ years of experience in Mechanical Finishing
- 5+ years Leading/Managing a team of 75+
- Strong understanding of anodizing processes, chemistry control, mechanical finishing techniques, and quality standards (e.g., MIL-A-8625, AAMA, ISO).
- Knowledge of EHS regulations, especially related to chemical handling and wastewater treatment.
- Experience overseeing anodizing maintenance.
- Proficient in using or implementing CMMS, SPC tools, and Lean/CI methodologies.
- Ability to develop High-Performing Teams and deliver results.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for directing & leading Anodize & Mechanical Finishing operations, each with 2 shifts, ensuring the anodize and finish operations reach safety, quality, volume and cost goals.
- Lead team, including Maintenance staff, to ensure safe, efficient, high-quality surface finishing processes that meet customer and internal specifications.
- Accountable for process optimization, production scheduling, equipment reliability, employee training, and compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
- Responsible for safety & working with the EHS team.
- Develop a High-Performing Team and deliver results
- Enforces compliance with administrative policies, procedures, safety rules and governmental regulations
- Investigate causes of customer or other complaints and respond accordingly.
- Carry out responsibilities in accordance with organizations policies and applicable laws.
