Position Summary

As a District Manager-In-Training (MIT), you will embark on an enriching journey with our custom interactive program lasting approximately twenty weeks. You will gain hands-on experience in:
  • District Management: Oversee multiple accounts in your territory, fulfilling operational procedures and regulations.
  • Training & Development: Lead and support staff to ensure compliance with Dining Services standards and enhance customer service.
  • Reporting: Maintain records for income, expenditures, and supply management while participating in payroll processes.
  • Communication: Serve as a liaison between the Account Manager, Administrators, and staff.
  • Safety: Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations and guidelines.
  • Punctuality: Promote consistent attendance and timely arrivals.
  • Customer Experience: Ensure courteous and effective interactions with all stakeholders.
  • Resident Experience: Foster positive and respectful relationships with residents and guests.
  • Travel: Expect up to 75% travel to visit accounts and participate in regional activities.
Qualifications:
  • Positive attitude and ability to follow directives.
  • Associate's degree in management or related field preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum two years of experience in quantity food production/service and personnel supervision.
  • Specialized training in Dining Services management and nutrition.
  • Completion of compliance courses in sanitation and safety.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills in a diverse environment.
  • Proven skills in P&L and budget management.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Valid driver's license and successful completion of a Motor Vehicle Check.
  • Basic computer skills required for reporting.
  • COVID-19 vaccination compliance as required.
  • Physical ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and perform various physical tasks regularly.
  • Willingness to relocate within the assigned market.
