The Dining Services Team at Givens Estates, a premier nonprofit continuing care retirement community, is hiring for a FT Dining Server for our fine dining restaurant Terrene. This is a meaningful and vital position where you positively impact the lives of our residents, visitors, and fellow team members every day.
Shifts include four 10-hour days, regularly working Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, with an additional flexible weekday. No late nights,which means you will have more quality time to maintain a balanced life.
What you'll do:
- Perform general serving duties and completes other duties assigned by Executive Chef, Sous Chef, and Team Lead Server
- Assist in assembly and completion of carry-out meals and deliver meals as needed
- Ensure quality service is provided to residents, guests, and team members by following the proper meal service techniques
- Have complete knowledge of venue menus and can relay in detail information to residents, guests, and team members
- Be familiar and knowledgeable of policies and procedures of dining services and Givens Estates
- Follow up with residents, guests, and team members to ensure expectations are met and/or exceeded
- Perform any other duties and/or tasks that may be assigned on an as-needed basis by an authorized supervisor
What you'll need:
- Working knowledge of sanitary standards related to food handling and preparation
- High School or GED equivalent is preferred
- Knowledge to serve meals in an appealing and appetizing manner
- Must be at least 18 years old
Compensation: $17.00 - $18.50 per hour based on experience, plus our comprehensive benefits package.
