Title: Digital Technology Project Manager
Location: REMOTE with 25% travel (reimbursed by client)

Job Description:
. All candidates must have GREAT COMMUNICATION skills and SOLID WORK EXPERIENCE.

"Travel can range dramatically for projects, but for these projects I would expect most travel to be domestic, but we do not know which sites yet. It could also be slightly higher or quite a bit lower depending on project needs. Usually planning workshops and project go-lives are when we require the most PM travel."

Digital Technology Project Manager

The Digital Technology Program Management Team is currently searching for seasoned Project Management professionals who can work independently supporting the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets for digital technology projects.

Individuals can work onsite at any Collins Aerospace domestic location or remotely.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Communicate and manage project vision with project leadership team to ensure an understanding of the project plan and scope, in conjunction with the company's commitments and customer expectations.

• Define deliverables, scope of work, and develop detailed project schedules to ensure value is provided to the customer/requestor and business objectives and goals are met.

• Build highly effective project teams and establish effective relationships with impacted departments and functional areas.

• Communicate expectations and instill accountability in team members.

• Resolve conflicts, promote work sharing, and motivate teams toward common goals.

• Apply project management principles including project financial management, scope and schedule management, risk and opportunity management, critical problem solving, variance and root cause analysis techniques to ensure on time delivery of product capabilities that meet customer requirements.

• Escalation of issues, along with proposed plan, to leadership

• Make timely and sound business decisions that support the business objectives of Collins Aerospace.

• Summarize and present key information to senior leadership enabling them to make decisions.

• Manage multiple projects, tasks, and resources through effective organization, prioritization, and time management practices to meet operational objectives.

• Participate in continuous process improvement and lean initiatives.

Basic Qualifications:

• These positions require a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline and at least 5 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a degree, at least 15 years of relevant experience would be required.

• Must be willing and able to travel up to 25% of the time

• Must be a U.S. Citizen

• Experience with Project Management oversight of infrastructure, security and software development initiatives.

• Experience building and managing schedules in MS Project.

Preferred Qualifications:

Consent Agreement Experience

SAP GTS or PLM/MES systems Experience

• Experience with multiple project methodologies including waterfall and agile Scrum methodology

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
