Job Description:
Insight Global is seeking a results-driven Digital Strategist to join on of our top government clients to lead and support digital initiatives across government projects, with a particular emphasis on logistics operations and project management. This role involves developing and executing digital strategies that improve service delivery, optimize workflows, and align with the agency's mission. The ideal candidate has experience working in or with government agencies, understands complex logistics environments, and can manage cross-functional projects from concept to execution. The digital strategist will collaborate closely with stakeholders and ensure smooth operations. Working in tandem with the AI Data Scientist, the this person will ensure that programs across various portfolios are being properly managed, identifies potential overlaps, and provides strategic guidance on digital initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement comprehensive digital strategies for public sector and logistics-related initiatives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process automation, digitization, and data integration in government logistics operations.
• Lead and manage end-to-end digital transformation projects, ensuring alignment with policy, budget, and compliance standards.
• Conduct needs assessments and gap analyses to evaluate current digital capabilities.
• Translate technical requirements into actionable project plans and deliverables.
• Manage project timelines, risks, resources, and vendor relationships.
• Ensure that all digital initiatives align with government IT and security regulations.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, including senior government officials.
• Monitor performance metrics and KPIs to assess project impact and drive continuous improvement.
• Stay current on emerging technologies relevant to logistics, supply chain, and digital government services
Required Qualifications:
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Digital Strategy, IT, Public Administration, Logistics, or related field (Master's preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in digital strategy or transformation, ideally within a government or public sector setting.
• Strong understanding of logistics, supply chain systems, and government procurement processes.
• Proven experience in project management (PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications preferred).
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with tools like MS Project, Jira, Asana, or similar project management platforms.
• Experience with Power BI and other data analytics tools
• Familiarity with digital government standards and cybersecurity protocols.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with data analytics and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Understanding of GIS and real-time tracking systems.
• Knowledge of federal/state/local digital service frameworks or policies.
• Experience managing cross-agency or multi-stakeholder projects
Compensation:
$130,000 to $140,000 per year annual salary. If client has provided an exact salary, then no need to use a range; also, if the client has provided an hourly rate, then use same hourly language from the Contract/Contract-to-Hire section above.
