Job Description: Role: Instructional Designer/e-Learning Specialist/Articulate360 Consultant
Location: Onsite in Redmond, WA

Mandatory Skills:
5+ years as Instructional designer experience related to e-learning, course contents
5+ years' experience in Articulate360
5+ years' experience in developing and authoring contents including use of audio, closed captions, layering and WC3 accessibility

Role Description Skills

• Design and develop e-learning (online courses). Most of the courses focus on Client policy and user decision making. Course content is designed so that is digestible information that is learnable

• Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify training needs

• Identify, list, and focus on learning objectives of a course and then organize course content into a logical flow of sections/topics

• Design and develop courses to promote learner engagement and promote memory through visual appeal (graphics, color) and develop learner activities (interactive exercises and quizzes)

• Maintain the Client's Required Courses on an annual basis to update content or freshen design to maintain engagement

• Use Articulate360 as an online course authoring tool including use of audio, closed captions, layering and WC3 accessibility

• Edit and proofread all content for grammar/spelling, consistency, and format, and validate all Articulate 360 settings are operational Job duties will also include

• Organize information, design, and prepare instruction manuals, how-to guides (Knowledge Base articles), Corp articles, and other supporting documents to communicate complex technical concepts and information to a target audience (often non-technical)

• Gather technical information, conduct research and work with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure materials are complete and accurate

• Apply writing skills to organize and translate complex concepts and instructions into digestible content for target audiences

• Create and employ diagrams to show users how a process or concept works

• Employ Functional Decomposition methodology to fully capture processes

• Edit and proofread content to ensure materials are free of grammatical mistakes, technical inaccuracies, and gaps in processes or concepts

• Create materials using the most effective medium, format and design depending on the target audience and specific project

• Use a design methodology, e.g., ADDIE: Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate. Hybrid Model, 2-3 days at client site.
