Digital Sales & Analytics Manager


The Digital Sales & Analytics Manager will be a vital member of the Business Strategy, Sales and Operations group in driving, supporting and optimizing sales strategies, performance and overall revenue growth across digital and console/PC titles. This person will lead the preparation and analysis of various sales and market data reports as well as creation of presentations for actionable insights, key learnings and best practices for internal business teams. Candidate will work in close collaboration with Digital, Sales Ops and BI/Business Planning teams and come from a strong background of digital sales, sales analytics and forecasting as well as experience communicating data-driven sales insights and strategies to a variety of cross-functional teams. This evolving role focuses on digital sales, but intersects significantly with related areas of digital and business including ops, product and marketing.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-team discussion and execution of digital sales and revenue forecasts across digital/console/PC titles and product/SKUs to drive informed business decisions and objectives.
  • Develop and implement data-driven digital sales strategies across individual titles, franchises and overall portfolio to optimize sales performance and achieve revenue targets. From lifecycle and pricing strategy to product/business model and new opportunities.
  • Manage regular reporting and priority sales KPIs. Analyze sales data, highlight trends and create additional reports to track digital performance and relevant customer engagement to identify areas of improvement or opportunity. Assess internal and external data inputs with stakeholder teams.
  • Partner with digital team on evaluating new and current business models and digital sales initiatives across platforms and global/regional markets. Deliver presentation or communications on clear and compelling data-driven sales strategy and actionable insights to global sales team and senior business management.
  • Work closely with digital and ops teams on sales promotions calendar planning, related setup, assets and admin from pricing and approvals to project management and reporting. Guide internal conversations on problem-solving and process improvements to better streamline team workflow and efficient results.
  • Communicate cross functionally with internal digital and business stakeholders to align on global and local sales strategies, goals and efforts. Strong focus on NA and LATAM markets.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with 1st Party and other digital partners for effective promotions planning and execution as well as educating and advocating internally on trends, new opportunities and best practices.
  • Work with BI, tech and digital teams to monitor and adjust sales tech stack related to effective and accurate reporting from data extraction to visualization and analysis.
  • Partner with digital and marketing teams on negotiating first party and lifecycle promotional support; tie in with priority customer segmentation and targeting/customization strategy as relevant.
  • Partner with marketing teams on negotiating first party and marketing support for digital content and products.
  • Ad hoc sales support as needed across digital and physical business and marketing teams on strategic cross-team initiatives as well as team evaluation of new opportunities.
  • Educate technical and non-technical internal teams on digital sales trends and technology.
  • Other related digital- and sales-related duties.


Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in digital sales, business analytics or related functional area, preferably in video game industry. Some finance, ops and/or business development experience nice to have.
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Able to translate complex ideas and data into actionable insights and effective business recommendations.
  • Strong Excel/reporting skills and experience with Tableau or other BI/data tools.
  • Comfortable and adept at presenting or communicating to wide variety of internal teams.
  • Proactive and flexible with working in collaborative cross-functional environment across regions and management levels.
  • Strong project management skills, high accountability, detail-oriented and self-motivated.
  • Experience in gaming and/or digital games/entertainment a plus.
  • Some experience with cross-cultural or Japanese business a plus.
  • Some domestic and international travel may be required.
