JOOLA is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Digital Engagement Manager to join our North America direct-to-consumer (DTC) sales team. In this role, you will support the continued growth of as a destination for passionate athletes to learn about and purchase premium equipment for pickleball and table tennis. You will collaborate with our marketing and creative teams to launch engaging user experiences on as well as with our Business Intelligence and operations teams to optimize the systems that power those experiences. JOOLA was first established in 1952 and built a global reputation as a pioneer in table tennis. In 2022, JOOLA expanded into the rapidly growing pickleball scene and quickly attracted the biggest names in the sport. As an official table tennis sponsor for three Summer Olympic Games and the official sponsor of pickleball's top athletes and the Professional Pickleball Association (PPA), the team at JOOLA combines its storied expertise with fresh perspectives to bring innovation to both sports. JOOLA creates a variety of equipment, apparel, and accessories for both table tennis and pickleball players, professional and recreational. Responsibilities
Build digital experiences that acquire, educate, and convert customers, with a focus on helping them learn about our products' unique value. Projects will include:
- Launch and maintain product pages that showcase JOOLA products in innovative ways and maximize conversion rates.
- Launch and maintain landing pages that summarize key product launches, campaigns, and promotions in compelling, customer-centric ways.
- Improve ratings and reviews strategies by increasing volume and highlighting positive user-generated content (UGC) across the site.
- Experiment with interactive content experiences, such as quizzes and finders, as well as photo and video presentations, that move users closer to purchase.
- Propose, execute, and measure A/B tests that optimize user experiences on such as email acquisition prompts, checkout upsells, or personalization features.
Optimize and execute the Back End processes that power user engagement and conversion. Projects will include:
- Execute promotions (sales) by rolling out new pricing tactics, collections, and discounts across Shopify and NetSuite.
- Enable new product launches by synching Shopify and NetSuite data and planning promotion across the site; remove out-of-stock products at end of lifecycle.
- Manage custom integrations and configurations of Shopify apps that power affiliate programs, product recommendations, ratings/reviews, and other E-commerce tactics.
- Maintain consistency across and JOOLA.ca and assist with Canada-specific localizations.
Manage developers within JOOLA and at external agencies to support the projects above, by documenting requirements, keeping development on track, conducting quality assurance checks, fixing bugs, and reporting on impact.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in business, computer science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in digital product management, ecommerce, or software development for a consumer-facing website.
- Hands-on experience with Shopify is preferred; some experience with NetSuite, Celigo, or Kalviyo is helpful, too.
- Demonstrated passion for sports, particularly racket sports like pickleball or table tennis, is great but not required.
- Experience with analytics tools like Google Analytics, Tableau, and Excel and project management tools like or JIRA.
