Job Title: Digital Product Manager

Location(s): New Brunswick, NJ

Key Responsibilities:
  • Understand the product strategy, product roadmap, and the specific needs of the user base.
  • Deliver the product roadmap by identifying user needs through stakeholder interviews, assessing engagement analytics, and interpreting user feedback and research.
  • Collaborate with other Product Managers, Business Analysts, and Experience Designers to identify solutions for user needs that align with the product roadmap.
  • Collaborate with other Product Managers, Business Analysts, and Experience Designers to define business requirements for the development team.
  • Maintain and prioritize the product backlog to maximize user value and continuously improve the features of the digital platform.
  • Partner with Product Managers and Business Analysts to ensure User Stories are ready for development and prioritized for each sprint.
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing as needed.
  • Apply compliance requirements within scope of responsibility, providing documentation as necessary.
  • Execute the above responsibilities independently with an expectation of little rework.
Qualifications:
  • Required Minimum Education: Bachelors degree in IT, Digital Products, User Experience, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2 to 8 years of relevant experience in the areas of digital product or software development.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies; SCRUM Product Owner certification is a plus.
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results. Ability to effectively lead and work with a variety of organizations, management levels, cultures, and personalities.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills. Experience communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple teams.
  • Energetic, highly organized, assertive with good negotiation and problem-solving skills to deal in situations whereby groups may not agree on every point, and to intervene and escalate when necessary.
  • Strong skills in managing and implementing projects.
  • Critical thinking skills and strong problem-solving capability.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience with JIRA is a plus.
